Artist History
Founded in 2001 by Jack Greenwood, the Non-Native
Transplants is a performance/slam poetry troupe.
Based out of Phoenix, AZ, the performers are
Steven G. Roy, Cage McAliester, and The Klute.
Each are known for their unique poetic stylings
and powerful delivery. As individuals, they hail
from Sacramento, CA, Casper, WY and West Palm
Beach, FL respectively, but now called the
scorched deserts of Arizona home.
The Non-Native Transplants were awarded best
performance poetry group in the Phoenix Metro
area by the Mesa (Arizona) Poetry Slam. |
