Artist History It was the Summer of Greed (August of 2000) when the scene collapsed as a result of a girl impressing post-pop-punk wave. Flanagan and Ben were good buddies from youth group. While having some missionaries over, after a well prepared home cooked meal, Ben was slipped a roofie. He woke encrusted in filth. Sad to say, it wasn’t his. Pissed & still steaming, Ben ran to Flanagan’s room where he was bound and gagged in the closet. From that moment on, they vowed to never let the likes of Fanatical religious freaks, jovial circus midgets, or conservative well-mannered puritans to foil their plans of global greed and world insemination. Ben went bitter with his banjo as Flanagan (Knighted Moneybags for his monetary tribulations) found an artistic escape while still maintaining a professional greed status. A few ads went out (mostly as a ploy to find flawed followers and pop em off), however, the only reply was some greasy Michigan fuck face (that’s what he preferred to be called) a.k.a. Brady Stallion. They played out a tad, but it was horrible. So back to the drawing board they went. That’s when the thought came to Flanagan to untie the gimp downstairs and see if he had learned the lead riffs given to him two years previous. Up the stairs came Filthy McGreed. He wasn’t too friendly, but he was entertaining, and that was all that mattered. A few weeks practice, and off they went to play with other wanna-be greed core artists such as Last One Out, Anti-Everything, Chump Change, Graveyard Shift, 3 Deuces, Capacity 3, Sadie Hawkins Rejects, Liquorbox, Moral Crux & Dead Kennedys. Still thriving, their goal is less than 1% complete. The GREEDIE$ need your patronage now, more than ever, to encourage and help instill the natural greed and cynicism in the pure and innocent kids of this ass biting world.
