    Artist History
HISTORY OF THE FALL GUYS The band now known as The Fall Guys formed between 1997&1998, as a old school punk band called "Sufferin' Succotash". It was established by Keith Walsh (lead vocals/guitar), Matt Harrington (bass), Adam Snyder (drums), and a little later with a slight format change, came the new edition, Bill Barret (guitar/backup vocals); who also suggested the name "the fall guys" The name stuck! The Scranton, PA band plays its local scene with other local independent acts and other bigger acts through the years like the ATARIS, MIDTOWN, OS101, PUNCHLINE, WHIPPERSNAPPER, UNSUNG ZEROS, LEN LEW, to name a few.. Time changes things and so did it change TheFallGuys. Band members came and went. At the end of summer of '99 a raw demo was recorded, but despite the recent effort, the band came to a halt. Everyone parted ways for a while, Bill left to pursue a career in recording and went back to work on his previous band. He recently got his degree in recording! The first bassist, Matt headed off to pursue a more dark & gothic realm of music. He played in TheFallGuys at two different points but eventually went on to dedicate his full attention to his new metal band. Last that was heard, his band opened for GWAR! And TheFallGuys went on. In the time between 2000-2001, Adam & Keith decided that they would move on to find new bassist. Adam introduced Dave Kenderdine to the band and so we played as a 3 piece for a short time. Not feeling as full sounding as they did before, Dave went to (lead guitar/alternate vocals) and a new bassist Nick Scopoletti assist the band but was replaced with Matt (when he played with us the second time). We played on with many more problems. Matt departed to pursue other things in 2002. We really didn’t want to go back to a 3 piece again so we searched for another bassist. Adam knew of a guy who had also been a good friend of the band. Jeff Grant (bass) shed a new light on the band with his wit. The band loved having him, and laughing along with his zany antics. Still more musical differences, personal matters, & a sabbatical leave ended up with Adam's leaving. We still hope to this day, that all is well for him now. We heard he's in a new band and we wish the best of luck to them. Jeff knew that his friend Derek Gleason, could be the next drummer. So Derek joined and we were renewed as a band again. We had ideas to start to record. A show was played. Derek had other intentions and other dreams to pursue and thus his stay was short lived as well, and he parted from TheFallGuys. Later on, Jeff had to leave to further his education at Penn State. It was Spring/Summer of 2002, Dave and Keith were left with a new challenge to find a drummer AND a bassist. Via the internet, Dave found a young energetic drummer, Mike Trudnak, who put a kick in the pants of our previously (somewhat dull) show. Dave's girlfriend, Jen Yates (bass) had practiced our songs privately, and we were shocked to find that she could play them with amazing accuracy. Finding a new bassist was no challenge there. Keith, Dave, Jen, & Mike started to rehearse as much as possible. They started to play more often, recorded an full album in August, and began to play out quite frequently. Although, things seemed to be going great, Mike didn’t feel that this was the right situation for him, so he decided to leave to play with a local hardcore band. So currently TheFallGuys are training a new drummer in preparation for our eventual appearance on the next punk rock world tour! well maybe not, but good things are happening and eventually we will figure out the right combination of musicians. When that happens.. look out! THE END (for now at least)
