Artist History In July 1999 a bunch of people from all around Europe came together to play a couple of covers at a charity concert, during practice Deniz and Cem stumbled over one of Tobias' lyric sheets and had a quick and rather drunken go at writing some music around it. To their own amazement the song still sounded good the next morning and the decision was made to continue playing together. More songs were written and the perfect line-up was found - after a long process of selection and refinement - with Kim on bass and Marc on 2nd guitar. Reptile Xing as you see it today was born. Reptile Xing started by playing at parties and soon gigged at local venues. Since then they have also played in central London and even toured on the continent. Reptile Xing's very own brand of metal that takes its influences from all forms of heavy music always goes down well with metal heads but is enjoyed even by the most varied of crowds. This became clear when in the huge Emergenza competition they were the only metal band to get through to the UK finals and play at the Mean Fiddler.
