Artist History
Point of Origin's debut was in March 2000, suporting the mighty Capdown. Since then, Point have steadily become one of the most popular bands in their home city, and the North-East. Always refreshing, uplifting and full of energy they've won over many fans in a short space of time. Having only just begun travelling their native Scotland they're looking forward to more gigs around the country. Point of Origin have completed the recording of their Debut EP "Swallow This, Punk!" and have recently played live on Northsound Radio. |

“Point of Origin have the ability and talent to become a national institution. Live, there are few around who can match their onstage antics and utmost professionalism. They remain one of the most exciting live bands in Scotland and given a chance could take this talent further and beyond. Its all in the songs - Point of Origin have a knack of writing catchy memorable little ditties that will warm your heart a thousand times over. Not to be missed!”
