Artist History
Originally from San Clemente CA, Aaron started to 'live' in a professional recording environment at the age of 17. Long time Southern California studio owner Jeffrey Haddad (Sound Collection) took Aaron under his wing, once he realized Aaron was never going to stop hanging at his studio. By the age of 19 Aaron was 2nd engineering at Sound Collection, picking up recording studio 'skills' through time and experience. Not only did it include the basic technical workings of pro recording gear, but most importantly the inner workings of vulnerable recording artists. Aarons philosiphy is that a great producer is the one that is most tuned in with there artists feelings and desires thus knowing when to be gentle, and tough.
Getting as much out of the artist as possible to realize a common goal of superb quality, and artistic fulfillment. At the age of 20 Aaron gained entrance into the Music Technology bachelors program at The California Institute of The Arts in Valencia CA. CalArts, Walt Disneys brain child, was a prestigious think tank for young artists. Aaron expanded on his musical abilitys at Calarts, as well as his technical. Aaron became the 'Head' student professor for the post production sound department in the Film School. Working on over 60 independent films and thesis features, Aaron became a Pro-Tools guru. Meanwhile expanding his knowledge and expertise into the genre of Sound for Film, on the set and in the studio. At the age of 23 Aaron moved to Denver CO to start playing in an alternative Rock band called 3rd Degree. At the same time Aaron became deeply involved in
the recording side of the Colorado music scene. Producing, mixing and engineering dozens of bands. Now at 26 and residing in Brooklyn, NY Aaron has logged thousands of hours in dozens of recording studios across the country, including Westlake LA, Unique NYC, Electric Lady Land NYC, Cue Studios VA, Quad Studios Nashville, Colorado Sound CO, and many others. Pop and Rock remains Aarons forte. His production and engineering style levitate towards the in your face, short but sweet genre of songwriting. A true seasoned pro at ProTools, yet a lover of Analog, Aaron brings the best of both worlds into the tracking process and mixing. He strives for a song that is produced, written, and performed so well it gives you goose bumps.
