Artist description
Every song is a co-composition. Where Brian came up with the original idea, his name is mentioned first; otherwise, Andy's name comes first. True simultaneous co-comps are credited to The Stop! Their style has been described as power pop, pop, alternative, punkish. Their influences are wide and varying: the Beatles, Buddy Holly, Brit Pop, Hendrix, Chopin, Lizst, Sex Pistols, Jam, Radiohead. . . (and that's just the start)! The Stop! have also covered songs like Eleanor Rigby, With a Little Help From My Friends, All My Loving (Lennon/McCartney); Anarchy in the U.K. (Sex Pistols); Respect (Otis Redding); Song 2 (Blur); and approximately 100 others.
