Artist History
Originally founded as The Locals in '97 or '98 (no one really knows) with Phil on drums, Cooter on bass and vocals, Nick on rhythm guitar and vocals, and Pat on lead guitar and vocals; disbanded for a short period when Cooter moved back to Amarillo... band line-up changed (as did the name to The Lucky Reds) with Phil moving to rhythm guitar and vocals, Nick to bass and vocals, Pat staying right where he was, and Glen coming in on drums. The band enjoyed a brief stint of semi-popularity amongst its fellow high schoolers in '99 and '00 (mainly because they had nothing better to do), headlining the famed Corporatestock 2000 (partly because they organized it). Due to internal conflicts (college, Pat and Glen started to hate each other for awhile) the band became defunct in winter of 2000. |
