Allen Jeffrey, as a DJ, Remixer, Producer & Director of “For The Record”, and as an “occasional” DJ on WRKS - 98.7 Kiss FM for the Shelter Mix on various Saturdays (produced by Timmy Regisford / Kevin Hedge). His own 2-hour Mix Show on WATF 91.9FM in NY from 8:00 – 10:00PM Thursdays and Allen is also the Owner/President of Soul Con Fusion Records in NY. Allen graduated from the Center for the Media Arts in New York City as a certified audio engineer. In 1991, Allen was hired by Judy Weinstein as Assistant Director of “For The Record”. Only a couple of years later, he was promoted to Director. Since Allen’s hiring, “For The Record” has been the recipient of the “Best Record Pool” Award in America for six consecutive years at the Winter Music Conference in Miami. DMC (UK / US), the exclusive DJ remix service, interviewed Allen to represent Record Pool Directors in America for the video “So You Wanna Be a DJ” which is marketed & distributed worldwide. When Allen Jeffrey isn’t playing Pool Director he is playing records around the world, as Allen also happens to be an internationally renowned Disc Jockey. He DJs at major clubs in Italy and New York as well as spinning occasionally at clubs with David Morales and Frankie Knuckles. Frank Ceraolo from Epic Records personally picked Allen to DJ at Sony Music Studios in NY for “Michael Jackson’s” History Past Present and Future album release party. Adding yet another dimension to his DJ career, Allen programmed & mixed music for MTV’s - “The Grind” (USA). These days one can find Allen spinning weekly at a club called Venue in NYC. As if that isn’t enough, Allen spends what little time he has in the studio producing remixes for various labels and artists. Allen produced a single for BJ Crosby who is now a lead on Broadway in Smokey Joe’s Caf�. July 2000 will see the release of Allen’s debut E.P. on his own label, titled The Allen Jeffrey Experience, which will show off his versatile and creative talents, having written and produced all the songs. ...........................................
