Press Reviews
While many young musicians claim that their talents extend beyond that of the label singer-songwriter, Sara Osmer is the one of the very few artists who can say it and mean it. On her self-titled, self-released EP, Osmer not only displays her fantastic voice and fine acoustic guitar talents, but she also shows us that she can write songs and utilize instruments that aren’t your usual sappy, girly, Lilith-type of fare. While it’s really hard to choose just one favorite track (there are only five on here), after you get through the first two, the exceptional “Full of Holes” and “Home”, which are of the old-fashioned, tug on the ol’ heart strings ballad variety, you get to Osmer’s true talent, which is sure to take the casual listener by surprise.
