Artist description
The Raytown Hustlas are a humorous rap group from Racine, Wisconsin. The group consists of two members; Justin (Justeezy) Kral, and Chris (Deezy) Krekling, both age 19. The group formed in the winter of 2000, and released its first album, entitled "Off Tha Heezy," the following summer. The album consisted of 13 originally written, produced, and recorded songs, and sold well over 500 copies independently. The group has just begun selling its second album, entitled "We Back In Dis, Whoadie!," consisting of 13 new, original songs. The group has begun recording its third album of original material, "Trill-A-G," for release sometime in late winter 2002. The concept behind the group could be described as a tongue-in-cheek interpretation of all of hip hop culture's idiosyncrasies and clichés, including Bentleys, money, girls and, of course, "ice." All albums include originally produced artwork done by the group. The group also created and maintains its own website, which has received nearly 2500 visitors in the last year.
