Artist description Original Skin is comprised of Guillermo Izquierdo (lead vocal, guitar), Brian Burd (bass, vocals), Chris Mattioli (drums) and Eric Seymour (lead guitar). The band’s music is a blend of edgy, driving alternative rock, with musical arrangements that blur the line between pop and progressive. They have become well known for their ultra-tight rhythm section and rich guitar sounds. Still a relatively young band, Original Skin has been well received and is quickly building up a huge following. One of the highlights of the band’s brief existence is playing alongside Canadian bands Treble Charger and Universal Honey. They recently completed a three-song recording with Mike Atherton at Blue Summit Studios (Fort Erie, Ontario) and plan to release the CD-EP before the end of 2001.ˇ
