Artist History ECH-22 born and raised in Fall River has been making music for over 18yrs. Groups like Led Zepplin, Rush, U2, Grandmaster Flash, Kraftwerk(just to name a few) and many other old school pioneers have influenced him to always pursue his dream of making music. He lives with his wife and they have two children. Even though he loves making music,he will never push his kids to the side(like some artist do!)so he can make a name for himself. FAMILY MEANS MORE TO HIM THAN FAME. His motto is "TREAT PEOPLE HOW YOU WANT TO BE TREATED". ECH-22 thinks it is funny when artists(you know who you are)claim their from here or there but really are not. Also they say things like:"THESE BEATS ARE NOT SAMPLED" when they really are. In other words if you have talent there is no need for you to lie just to portray a certain image. Musically he makes all types of music and was part of an independent label called Next Level Productions. Unfortunately they were holding him back, so he had no choice but to leave them to accomplish his own goals. He is planning release of his CD "World Thump" around the fall. He makes his own music from scratch and any samples he uses are strictly words. As long as people enjoy his music and he gives it his all, to him that's being rich and famous. All songs are copy written by ECH-22(dj ech-22).Except "THE GAME" which was copy written by ECH-22 and Derek B (a.k.a)D.W.C(is also on iuma and was formely known as apt g). Unfortunately ech-22 does not work with d.w.c. anymore and wishes him the best of luck. For all the artists out there remember one thing:"ALWAYS GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS REALLY DUE"...
