Artist History
UDR was started in 1996 by Anthony Finfrock. Three albums were released during the time UDR was a solo project. UDR's older work was more of an experiment using ideas and sounds. UDR later added a guitarist and a keyboardist to it's lineup. One EP was released while UDR was a three man operation. The sound had changed somewhat, but still hadn't begun to reach it's potential. In 1999 Leila Aldridge joined the band and added her vocal talent to the mix. Now UDR has undergone a third transformation. The latest work is much more accessible, mixing many elements from it’s past and adding a whole new level of quality and artistic value. Ranging from hard dance-floor tracks to thoughtful ambient pieces, UDR is starting to come into it’s own. Look for the new album in fall 2000. |
