    Press Reviews
"The nine-song CD is filled with acoustic and acoustic-slide guitar and for the most part things move along quite well. With reflection as a major theme, the moody and enjoyable 'Sundance Blues' transitions into 'Even My Shoes Got the Blues,' a cut that is promising...(Matt Alcott, MNBlues.com on Even My Shoes Got The Blues)"For the most part, the FatCat plays acoustic guitar in the Delta/Country style, with plenty of emphasis on the slide. By way of variation he also serves up a Buddy Holly style rock and roll song ("To Your Grave"), whilst the highly evocative closing instrumental ("Grandma Maggie") hails more from the folk tradition, but is very good nonetheless. In fact, it is only bettered by "Kentucky Woman," a tune which chugs along, driven by a combination of a metronomic (synthesized?) percussive beat, and a bass sound...On the whole, then "FatCat Too..." is a good album, which should help Lorenz to get established.
