Artist description Spread was formed during the autumn of 1994 at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL. and is now based out of Chicago,IL.The five piece band began as a collision of funk, hard rock, and blues influences entertaining occasional soft ballads. The group forged a uniquesound amid the upstart local music scene and quickly began playing clubs in the the area. During these early days, Spread was known forhard playing as well as hard living. Spread concerts became known as energetic and exciting as well as unpredictable.
