Artist History PUSHKA (International Band Of Mystery). Pushka are Sharon Rudge (vocals) & Justin Jones (samplers & various electronica). Pushka were formed in late 98 after a brief spell at art college. They decided, in the true spirit of 76, that if they were not being entertained in live venues they should do it themselves. They hope to capture the innocent idealism of the swinging 60s, combine funky beats with punk attitude & are not afraid to get their hands dirty in the rock n`roll lifestyle, hence the live favourites Rock n`Roll & The Great Rock n`Dole Show! The whole concept behind the project is quite Warholian in that we take trash in the form of homemade samples, recycling them into a glamorous product.
