Artist History Her honest emotional approach has become the cornerstone of her gifted style as a singer, songwriter and performing artist. Mattie is a featured vocalist on the new Maranatha/Word release PURE JOY, April 1995. Her collaborative talent as a songwriter can be heard on the 1994 Broken Records release of Kings Road debut album, WHERE ANGELS WALK. Most recently, Mattie earned the recognition and support of Elton John's legendary lyricist Bernie Taupin, who was immediately intrigued by her various moods and dramatic abilities. She continues to record, perform and collaborate with songwriter/producer Aubrey Hodges in preparation for her debut album.
