Artist description
Hypnotic Kick are a latino hardcore / melodic groove metal band from Springfield, Massachusetts that started in 1994 when they first released their demo "Finally" on Sike Records. While preparing for their first CD they toured with such local as well as national acts as Staind, Paw, KoRn, Warped Tour, Sebastion Bach, and many others. "Trapped in a Music Box" was released in December 1998 and has been responded to well in the local scene being played on WHMP, WAAF, WCCH, WTCC and other local stations. Hypnotic Kick have received rave reviews from Northeast Performer, Springfield Union News and the Springfield Advocate. They just recorded 11 songs which were produced by Jeff Gilmer, due out April 2000! |

Artist History
HYPNOTIC KICK was formed in July of 1994. The band started practicing in an old garage loacated at 38 Jefferson Ave., in Springfield's North End. From there came a couple of local bandsm and HYPNOTIC KICK was one of them. Since then HK emerged on the local and regional Western Mass scene. HK has grown in popularity, and still keep, each year, drawing lots of support. |
