Artist description
A cyber-band wich inludes a man and machines. Eternity makes an unusual techno-rock-pop-funk-wordlmix. I am sure that you never heard something like this ! The machins play a great part in Eternity’s work. All is made with computers, audio and MIDI sequencers, on board synthesisers and samplers, virtual analog synthesisers. The guitars are really played, but they are software altered. The lyrics are poems and stories completely off their trolley, where move phantoms, parapsychologic phenomena, angels, prophets and demons, in the morbid environment of the Freudian instinct of dead, in violence, in destruction, in blood and fire. However, the message of Eternity is above all revolutionary and political, but also the opposite of Marxist logorrhea, because it is based on human spiritual dimension. |

Artist History
JF is an excentric and agoraphobic young man whose ideas are very odd. He met a computer in the University, where he obtained also a doctorate. Then he decided to form a band with this machine like only companion. Thus was born Eternity in 1998. Later, the group needed somebody to say the lyrics, because JF is terribly shy. Then an important encounter occured : he heard a strange voice, and first he believed that God or an angel spoke to him. So, he told about this to his psychiatrist, who concluded that it was a voice synthesizer named Elash. JF requested that the voice synthesizer join Eternity, and Elash accepted. JF, the computer and the voice synthesizer made an album together, The Death Fellows. But JF became jealous of Elash, and he decided to sing the lyrics himself in the next album. To be continued... |
