Artist History
After a spin as a working musician in Los Angeles; recording artist D.M. Petersen ended up in the San Francisco Bay Area pursuing his own innovative musical vision. His first 'album', a series of drum machine portastudio experiments, is available at pw2.netcom.com/~dmpete. His second album, available at the same URL, achieved modest world-wide distribution and positive feedback on the Internet Underground Music Archive (IUMA has been featured on CBS News, Next Step on the Discovery Channel, Rolling Stone Magazine, etc.). This third offering, 'I'm Asleep But I'm Awake', continues the evolution of the artist's polyrhythmic, eclectic, very modern art rock music. Through the phenomenon of the Internet, the recording is just beginning to receive e-mail offers for press and airplay from far off places like Brazil, Greece, and Canada. The album includes T.J. Pellicer on drums, Sebastien Gambier on keyboards, with Rick Eagle and Gradie O'Neil engineering. |
