SHULTZ has played with members of The Chili Peppers, JanesAddiction, and Parliament/Funkadelic. JD has also collaberated with several artists including Bronxstyle Bob, Busdriver, and his own band, Galaxy Grand Prix. Demetria is an artist bursting with in-your-face energy and mystery. Artist History Demetria is a native of Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. She transplanted herself into the tinseltown scene of Hollywood, where she met writing partner/producer J.D. Shultz. Musical inspiration ranges from classic & modern rock/pop to funk/reggae/soul and electronica. Demetria's mediterranean roots are evident in her choice of sounds and samples. She also loves asian traditional instruments. This may sound like a huge melting pot of influence, yet it makes for a fresh intriguing sound.
