Artist History
A band which was formed in the 90's by two social outcasts, D. Karloff & Rob Munster, who believed that rock 'n' roll still had edge. With the meeting of Martin Lugosi, they found a common bond that would be Vampire Horses. After honing their skills in di ves across Ontario, with countless drummers, the time was at hand. With guest drummer Magnus Gruesome, they recorded their first independent disc "Tansylvania Crypt Kicker." With recordings completed, the band recruited young upstart Kidd Spooky into thei r fold. Thus commencing their next chapter to be written.
Rock'n'roll the the way the devil intended it to be. |

Press Reviews
Vampire Horses
Bovine Sex Club, Toronto, February 28th 2002
I saw the Vampire Horses at the Bovine last night.
Firstly: I love the look of the Bovine. I've been coming there for years, and I still always find a new piece of scrap to stare at (the wall s and ceilings are decorated with old bicycle parts, and other hardware parts, and with parts of things I just don't recognize).
The Vampire Horses totally fit into the trashy look of the place (but in a good way). I'd classify their music as metal/ pun k/pop with a vampire twist. Their stuff is fun to head bang to; and drink to; and get into fights to (fun friendly fights though :-) I picked up their cd, "Transylvania Crypt Kicker". Their songs are about monsters, cannibals, and cars. The song, "Headless Love" is really cool.
