Artist History
Strain Busy Sky was the national winner of the 2000 Lucky Strike "Band-to-Band Combat" competition, and won the 1998 Midwest regional contest for this same competition. They are the only band to win this contest twice. They consistently play to full houses locally in the Chicago area, and hold the record for the largest local band draw at the Chicago House of Blues. The band had a opening slot on the 1998 H.O.R.D.E. festival, and appeared on the "Kool H.O.R.D.E Combat" compilation CD. The band is currently putting the final touches on its second CD, entitled "Racing the Sun."
