Artist History The Second Evolution Year 0-1998 In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth, and the Earth was without form and ... WHAT THE FUCK!!! Then somewhere in the ever-blooming evolution, two guys called BrylleX and RuneX decided to turn serious. They re-united in the ashes of what once was, and began composing what would later turn out to be an actual song. After having still fooled around for a while they agreed in letting in another fella' on guitar, called MirceaX. Surely this would reinforce the sound waves. Shortly after, MirceaX introduced MarkX who was to deliver the voice box. They took him in and musichappened... in a really slow pace. The wheel was definitely turning, but the wheel was square-shaped and the fuel was low. The band hit a status quo and MirceaX and BrylleX got busy with their side-projects (Mercenary & Behind the Curtain). Year 1999 After having consumed large quantities of alchohol the band apparently shaped up. They gathered their heads to re-Create what would finally be called Mnemic. And so more music happened, but the writing-process was becoming an individual struggle to them, in which there would be no winner, just a compromise. And a compromise can suck dick!!! Year 2000 With new solid material and a freshly explosive concept, Mnemic did not hesitate to book the Aabenraa Studio and the head of it, the producer, Jakob Hansen. They even got The Sandman of Behind The Curtain to do some synthesized fill-ins for them. Beatiful, man! A recording was definitely going to happen. ...And they pulled it off too!!! Later after the studio visit, Jacob Hansen asked BrylleX if he would take Per M. Jensens (ex-Invocator, The Haunted) place as the new drummer for Invocator! BrylleX, of course agreed. On to Mnemic, the two recorded tracks called "Flipping" and "Tattoos" were scattered worldwide. Heavily regarded record-labels and zines all got a copy. Furthermore the tracks where added to the Mnemic-website, and in complete versions. So all they needed was a good kick in the ass'n'balls! Later that year MirceaX joined one of Denmarks most respected and brutal death metal bands,Infernal Torment, as solo-guitarist. Year 2001 The French recordlabel, Season of Mist, in a cooperation with the French Metal Magazine, Metallian Mag releases the compilation CD "100% Underground" which Mnemic are featured with the track "Tattoos". Plus the Band gets hold of a stabile bass-player, Mikkel X. End of bios-fear for now.....
