Artist History
Guitarist/singer/songwriter Mike Lindsay fronted British acts such as Slimcea Girl and Godless before moving to Budapest. These bands were in the thick of the revolutionary early 90s indie music scene in Glasgow, where Lindsay played night after night on the same stages as Primal Scream, Teenage Fanclub, and other now-famous British indie bands.
Bass guitarist Nathan Johnson spent nearly a decade in Seattle's music scene recording and touring with Sony band Flop and renowned punk-pop outfit The Fastbacks. He recorded four albums with Flop, touring with The Lemonheads, among others.
Drummer Mike Zwecker comes to Fabulon from the music scenes of Athens, Georgia, and New York City. In the early 90s Zwecker played with Seven Simons, an Athens band signed to Doggone Records, run by REM manager Jefferson Holt.
Espen Solberg, Fabulon's newest member, comes from Norway with a guitar and trademark Scandinavian pop sensibility. Espen enters Fabulon history as the first ever non-Anglo-American member of the band. |
