Artist History Bubblejet is a rock conglomerate that has been churning the murky musical waters of Cedar Rapids, Iowa since 1999. It is the creative sum of lead-jet Chad Willenborg (guitar & lead vocals, ex-Spiritwagon) and an assorted cast of players that have included: John Morgan (drums & percussion, of the band Oblivious Minnow), Matt Ricklefs (bass, ex-The Lonely Wombats), Jim Scharosch (bass & backing vocals, also of Oblivious Minnow) and Rich Toomsen (lead guitar, ex-Pearls 4 Swine). The searing debut CD, "Drag Days," was released in 2000 on Bumble Puppy Recordings. The follow-up, "Polka Dot Milk," was released in Feb. 2002 also on Bumble Puppy. Bubblejet releases are available at Relics Records and CD Warehouse in Cedar Rapids, Alter Ego in Marion, Sal's Music Emporium in Iowa City and directly from Bumble Puppy Recordings. The NEW CD, "Kattle Komputer," is now available!
