Artist History
Liquid Cloud 9 is a 4 piece hard driving rock band from the Phila., Pa area. Originally formed in 1997 LC9 has gone from hardcore funky blues to what they call now as Philly Crunch! Since their formation they have grown and formed their own sound of music. Playing the local Philly circuit from 97-99 as a original/ cover band they packed houses and gained a nice following but, could never get pleasure out of playing other people songs. LC9 needed a change!! Replacing their drummer and singer the remaining members of LC9 vowed to move on. In the summer of 99 they picked up a new drummer (Jim Teodoro and now Dan Reider) and since have created their unique sound. The musical rollercoaster has become the trademark for many LC9 songs and it is as exciting as it is unexpected. One minute hard and in your face then down to a mellow pace. Lyrically LC9 takes the trials and tribulations of every day life and puts it to the music. Though LC9 may look like your "Run Of The Mill" heavy band, the music they create is anything but, "Run Of The Mill"
