Artist History Leo the Lion is the brainchild of David Daniels and Daniel Hart. Created during the summer of 2001, Leo the Lion came about as a way for David and Daniel to bring something new to the game. "David and I have known each other for a long time," says Hart. "We've played in so many bands together over the years that I've lost count. But now, I think we've achieved a more mature collaboration. We both listen to as much music as we can--any style, any genre. What we've done with Leo the Lion is to try and take the best of everything, and incorporate that into two areas where we want to explore now: specifically, acoustic music and dance music. We're not trying to make the newest hit single, but we are trying to give people music that they'll enjoy; music they'll want to hear again."
