Artist History
Hollow Point was formed in Late summer 2001 when the South Kingstown metal
band Frontline parted ways. Guitarist Tommy and lead singer Kyle decided to
form a powerful band that sounded like no others! Kyle and Tommy hooked up
with guitarist Ben Craik and bassist Matt Bradstock. The 4 wrote two songs but
needed a drummer, after going through close to 5 different drummers they decided
on Chris Ramos. Chris drummed for the Woonsockett hardcore band "Forget the Past."
With the line up complete the band hit up the recording studio to record a 2 song demo
that would be given away for FREE. The band had there CD release party at the 193 Degrees
Coffeehouse in Kingston, RI with Desperate Cry and Imprint. Since the CD release the band
has given away close 460 CDs! Shortly after there CD release part Craik and Bradstock waved
good bye to Hollow Point. It didn't take the 3 remaining members of Hollow Point to find a replacement
for Matt Bradstock. They called upon fellow Forget the Past bassist Vinnie. With the band lacking a
2nd guitarist, they didn't stop playing shows. The finally decided to add a 2nd guitarist, Former
Forget the Past guitarist Matt. With a solid line up the band is gearing up to record there debut record,
and plans to tour. Hollow Point is a band to watch for in the near future. With there amazing stage presents
and a loyal fan base, Hollow Point will continue to play shows all over the New England Area. |
