Artist History
Max Neutra's exposure to electronic music began when he was four and his father took him to a Kraftwerk concert. That was closely followed by a Devo concert, and so his interest in rythmic music began. As a teenager, Max bought himself some Tech 1200s complimented by a Vestax 05-Pro and dove into the local DJ scene. After a couple years, Max realized that he wanted more control over the music he was creating and sold his setup to buy an ancient Ensonic sampling keyboard. After highschool, he took the Sound Arts program at Ex'pression Center for New Media to learn the professional trade of audio recording. Today he lives in the bay area and continues to make music at his home studio. |
