Music Style Emo-core with a la-la bass

Artist History In summer 1992, Christian Goodwillie and Jeff Giba were trying to put a band together. They met Brady Carlson through a mutual friend and formed Dipole Moment. Combining Christian's unique chorded bass runs, Jeff's furious drumming and Brady's angry vocals, the band recorded their first demo in winter 1992, yielding the local hit "Paper Punch." They recorded three times in 1993, including a three- song vinyl EP "Carolinaland" and a track on the "Picking More Daisies" compilation. Dipole Moment played only a handful of shows before disbanding in early 1994. All three would play together again in the band Streetcar.
