Artist History
Arch Stanton is an Irish 26-year-old singer-songwriter-arranger-musician, who has worked in just about every style of music there is.
His musical life began as a keyboardist and singer in Dublin cover bands, playing everything from jazz standards to triple-speed C&W (for which he is eternally sorry), all over the Irish countryside.
He then took up the guitar and concentrated on songwriting & arranging, starting his own five-piece group in 2000. Along with gigs all across Ireland, and several appearances on Dublin radio, the band has performed in New York’s CB’s Gallery and Arlene’s Grocery.
Arch is currently the singer with David Cross (ex-King Crimson), who is at this time recording his new album in London.
He also plays guitar with avant-garde practicioner Giordai Ui Laoighaire, and baritone guitar with progressive trio Magnum Opus.
