Artist History
In 1980 two guitarists, a drummer, a writer, and an artist found themselves sharing a house in Toronto's old Cabbagetown. One day they decided to jam. A certain magic happened and the Mothdogs were born. Led by guitarist Donald F. Daurio, they spent three months writing songs and rehearsing. Their debut at Toronto's Beverley Tavern became an historic event. During those heady days the name `Mothdogs' was heard on every corner of the city. Soon after they broke up, each member moving on in their lives. But these eight rough recordings remain a reminder of their creative excitment and vitality. |
