Artist description
Ravage is a five-piece band hailing from the Boston area of Massachusetts. The band's style combines the high energy and melody of such classic metal bands as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, the uncompromising metal attitude of late 80's Bay Area thrash bands, and the relentless attack of late 90's European power metal to forge a blistering brand of true metal. The Ravage live experience engages and enthralls any audience and leaves the ravaged masses gasping for more. Vocalist Alec Firicano, who came to be referred to as "Al Ravage" by the band's more eccentric fans, and his brother, guitarist Eli Firicano formed the band back in the fall of 1995. After a long period of musical development and numerous lineup changes, the band's lineup was finally rounded out in 2001 with the addition of second lead guitarist Nick Izzo and bassist Jay Alonzo in the fall of 2001. Word of the band's highly exciting live performances has spread, and Ravage has a growing young following in the Boston area. Ravage has played to sizable crowds at well-known venues all around Massachusetts, opening for international acts such as Lizzy Borden, national acts like Alex Skolnick, and well established local acts such as The Ultimate Ozzy Osbourne Experience: Believer. The band is currently seeking management and label interest and continues to play live regularly. The dual lead guitar attack of Eli Firicano and Nick Izzo, Jay Alonzo's pounding bass lines, and live showmanship, and Alec Firicano's vocal ability and pointed lyrics energize the band's irresistibly catchy, heavy, and yet highly melodic musical compositions, and make's the band's potential limitless. |

Press Reviews
"Now here is some good old school Heavy Metal. It reminds me of Iron Maiden with a touch of Danzig. The vocals fit the music very well, clean but rough sounding. This is how Heavy Metal was meant to sound." - New England Black Circle (www.geocities.com/neblackcircle)
