Artist History Victor Hugo '' is Europe’s biggest Salsa Star" (BBC Salsa special 2000) with 12 released recordings. 'Tropicalisimo' , was one his most popular CD’s, very much geared to the dance floor. Tracks have also been included in the feature film Janice Beard with Patsy Kensit, and 'Cuanto Tiempo' was featured in the Bacardi advertising campaign 'Behind Bars' on TV and at cinemas all over Europe. 'El Niche Soy Yo' is being recorded in 2001 in Colombia with the world famous Grupo Niche band members under the direction of a new young talent in the salsa world, Julio Cortes who also arranged some of the songs alongside Cuban musician Rey Crespo. Also available from LAS Records is ‘Latinoamerica’, recorded in Germany with unequivocal genius, Armin Keil.
