Artist description Suspecting Afterglow is a 4-piece semi-acoustic band out of Pembroke Pines, Florida. It's almost refreshing to see a band like this spur from a scene known for it's pop-punk and nu-metal bands. Emotional and relatable lyrics, mixed with catchy hooks and melodies have made SA a fast growing band. Blending their eclectic influences from bands like Jimmy Eat World and Dashboard Confessional to Evergreen Terrace to Anti-Flag, SA has a distinctive sound that is hard to slap a genre onto. Although it is easy to dismiss them as an emo band, it is not so easy to identify who they sound like.
