Press Reviews A Musical Review of PLAN 607 by Andrew Phillips for Jerk Magazine Volume one issue 2 PLAN 607 may describe itself as a"Powerful,aggressive blend of old school punk with catchy hooks and grooves",but they're definately not your average Eptitaph or Fat Wreck band. Conceptualized in 1994,and finally brought together last year,the band is now releasing it's overdue debut full length album. The self-titled release due out late April or early May,delivers a number of rock songs that could make anyone looking for that punk or rock edge flip out. Judging by the seven of 16 songs I was able to listen to,I would describe PLAN 607 as a straight forward rock n' roll band with mature punk influences. Like most music the songs on this album bring back memories for me.Remember when you were 15 or 16 hanging out at The Dairy Queen in the hot sun with your water bottle of vodka and your Blizzard,looking good and feeling different? And you were thinking of yourself,"If my Discman could play anything it wanted to...,"you would probably wish you had an advanced copy of this album. So basically,about PLAN 607's new release...Umm,yeah man,ROCK OUT WITH YOUR COCK OUT.
