Artist History Marian began her career at the age of three, singing and modeling at diverse community functions. Her vocal performance mesmerizes her listening audience. Raised in a city known for gospel music, Marian sang in the church choir but Hip-Hop, R&B, Blues and Country also influenced her. There are no boundaries when it comes to her having an appreciation for all types of music. This young lady is serious and dedicated to her singing and music career. There is no stopping her now.. Marian has participated in the WGCI Radio Music Seminar and was involved in the Young Authors program. In 1997 she competed in the Miss Teen Illinois Pageant and took 4th place. During the same year, she was selected to participate in the “Kids R People 2” performing arts program. In 1998, Marian won the best female solo artist in the Chicago Housing Authority Talent Show. She won the Positive Achievers Award from WGCI; performed at the Taste of Austin, and made fourteen appearances with the Safe Summer Tour in Chicago. In 1999, she performed in the play, “Too Good To Be True” where she displayed acting and vocal skills. She recently won the Miss United Way Pageant and is now going forward to fulfill her dreams. Marian is now seeking to share her talents with the world after displaying them throughout Chicagoland.
