Artist History Friction*Fx are a Fast 5 piece melodic Emo/Punk band from Carluke, Scotland! The band was formed in early 1999 by 5 best friends with a desire to create their own music. The band is made up of... David Burns(Vocals), David Henderson (Rhythm Guitar), Ross Dickson (Lead Guitar), Andrew Burns (Bass), Gary Duthart (Drums)... Originally called Friktion the band was forced to change their name by an American band who threatened legal actions, But the band have never looked back since. Friction*Fx are a very patient band, they practiced for 2 years straight getting a full set together, writing their own material & tightening their music to a tee! Friction*Fx arent a band that goes by any fashions or "In Things", just a good band determined to show you what they have got & to make something of themselves! with the bands debut E.P. "If We Die tomorrow..." set for release and the band have just been signed to No Order Records... So it looks like your gonna be hearing more from the guys, definately a band to check out... be prepared... Friction*Fx have arrived!
