Artist History Michael Ortega started songwriting after learning that is girlfriend was secretly engaged to get married to man in the Navy. Feeling depressed he purchased recording equipment and started to express his feelings through songwriting. Along that path he got involved with a company that designed digital synthesizers and musical instruments interfaces. Haveing access to state of the art and inovative software and hardware he started to develop a hugh library of unique sounds for various synths and samplers. Finding an outlet for these sounds in Hip Hop, R&B and dance song writing and production. He beta tested software and hardware for various musical companies starting in 1981 until 1999. An artist named Andy Stokes called him “The Wizard O” in 1988 and the nickname evolved into auralwiz after he created Aural Seduction Audio Productions in 1989. His main collaborations have been with his writing partner Chris Arevalo. “Chris Arevalo is one of the best un-discovered songwriters in recent history!” “I owe him my utmost admiration.”t
