Artist description
Our sound is contemporary, fresh and modern, with enough things going on to keep the listener interested.
For a duo, the music has a wide range of styles: from funky house to pounding trance, and most things inbetween. Incorperating elements from a wide variety of inflences and genres, Subfex/Riviero is a sound to be reckoned with....

Artist History
Ben is 20 and lives in London. He has a grade 8 in Classical Guitar, an A-level in music, and is currently studying for a MSc in Mathematics. Anahys is 23 and also lives in London. She studied performance and drama in Manchester, before arriving in London to study to become a medic.
"Our music is all created on PC (geeky i know, but hey, it works...), using the incredible Propellerheads Reason 2.0 for all the instrumentation. Vocals are added, using Cubase, and then the song is finished off using T-Racks.
With regards to the name of our act, originally, I was a solo artist under the name SubFex. When Anahys joined, the name became Riviero: but since the mp3.com SubFex site was getting more publicity, I decided to put some of the Riviero stuff up here too." |
