Press Reviews Hardcore tunes by pretty people. The Skinny Sixshot's sound is somewhere between No Use For a Name and Face to Face—low on the aggression and high on the sincerity with a quick tempo. Add a splash of emo and you've got it. The live shows are tighter than many post-punk local bands you see, and they have enough variation in their songs to keep things interesting. Given a bit more time and a little exploration with their sound, and Sixshot will be taking their gig out of the Salt Lake closet and make it on the tour ring. Credentials Since forming in October of 1998, Sixshot has played with the likes of Face to Face, Alkaline Trio, Unwritten Law, Lefty, Strung Out, The Hippos and more. —Jason Esplin
