Artist History Dave Wells, Mike Dixon, and Billy Liber grew up in North Canton Ohio. Being around a fairly active punk scene in Canton and near Cleveland, they went to as many shows as they could and always dreamt of having a rock band that could move people someday. Picking up their instruments for the first times in their Junior year of highschool they began writing shitty music that at the time sounded like the best thing they'd ever heard and they played it for anyone who would listen. In the Winter of 1999 Billy and Dave formed a band called Coblentz where Dave played guitar, Mike was the roadie and Billy just sang. This band faded cause everyone went to college. The three went their seperate ways onto school but couldn't stand not playing music together. All making their sacrifices, they started jamming again in winter 2000 and R.E.A.L. was formed by May of 2000. They recorded the " Six Strings and a Dream Ep. " in Fall 2001. Originally Chad Shevlin played drums but because of musical differences he quit the band. This turned out to be a blessing for the band when they picked up former Metal/hardcore drummer, Josh Young. Since then they've been rockin' Northern Ohio and preparing to record a New Full Length CD in MAR. 2002! They play as many Live Shows as possible and aren't afraid of hard work.
