Press Reviews
"The sounds I heard were quite unexpected.
Sound wise...Melk's music was like a musical
score at it's most organized, and like a
construction site at it's most chaotic.
It's really hard to describe their sound because
it spans such a wide dynamic territory. In some
parts, all you can hear is a quiet hissing sound,
in others, it sounds like a heavy metal song
chopped into 1 second samples, then rearranged in
random order. The thing about this music is, it
really makes you think...I really think everyone
should listen to the Melk the G6-49 CD or go to
a show at least once. It may not be something that
you would go see over and over again, but it
really is refreshing to chill out and either play
the "name that genre" game or just try to see
the aural pictures these guys paint."
