Artist description
Fueling the band with his rock influenced, funky,
and folky songwriting, Jake Incao's infectious
melodies, reflective lyrics, and show-stopping
intensity always incite and connect with the
dancing and singing audiences. Backing up Jakes
rhythm guitar and singing are the dueling lead
guitars of Brian Duggan and James Rowland whose
experimentation with harmonies and effects gives
alternating textures to the music. James and
Brian often switch to organ or piano to compliment
one another and to keep everything interesting.
The groove is always set up, smacked down, and
accentuated by Hurls on percussion and S-Dog on
basses, who together make up the backbone and
establish what they call The Pouch. |

Headlining every Monday at Backstreet Blues in Rockville Centre, The Pouch has cultivated a strong following of fans, who affectionately refer to themselves as Poucheads. This humble beginning gave The Pouch the live experience and fans they needed to catapult themselves into New York City's live music scene. The Pouch have performed in front of packed houses at such infamous venues as 'The Elbow Room' and 'Mulcahys.' |
