in search of opportunities that would enable them to enjoy a better way of life. While living in Bronx, New York City, he furthered his education by attending school Number Nine simultaneously trying to adjust to the fast paced life of a big city. His excitement, love and dream of a brighter future were interrupted on April 17, 1987 by the sudden death of his father. While attending East High school he realized at the age of sixteen that he possessed a special talent of singing and “DJing”. Lennox found himself surrounded by many students who realized his unique ability as a singer by congregating in the hallways during break time to listen and enjoy his melodious Jamaican lyrics.
