Artist description "DJ EBAR (aka Eric Reithler-Barros) has been spinning cutting-edge underground dance music professionally since 1991, specializing in progressive house, tech house and progressive trance. Beginning his DJ career in the Chicago area, he then rocked dancefloors around Florida (raves; clubs such as Late Night Library, Louvre, Underground Cafe, Club Park Avenue), Paris, France (Folies Pigalle, Buddha Bar, Rex Club), Phoenix, Arizona (raves such as Ants In Your Pants, the Lollapalooza tour; clubs such as The Works, 411, Mecqa, Karma, as well as working with the Plastik Records imprint for some time), and New York City (weekly residency and co-promoter at the Freedom trance weekly in Manhattan; weekly residency on Downshift Radio Internet audio/video DJ webcast; Ice Bar, Guernica, True, Ohm etc.). His mixing style is comprised of long, seamless, textured mixes that build in intensity as he progresses into his unique vibe. He is currently based in New York City. He has also been producing and engineering his own music, under the monikers EBAR and Twilight Technologies, since 1996. His original productions and remixes revolve around the trance and progressive house veins. The production tracks can be described as melodic, grandiose, complex, psychedelic stormers, hovering around the 130 BPM range. He has performed live in club venues and has over 30 tracks on file and in-line for mastering and publication, and is constantly developing more.
