Artist description
A prolific Bay Area singer/songwriter, Cynthia has been writing songs, short stories and poetry for over 30 years. In addition to seven solo albums, her music has graced more than 80 recorded musical collections by a variety of artists.
Musically, her songs run the gamut from classical folk ballads, rock and blues to country. They include a variety of themes, such as science-fiction, fantasy, witchcraft and magick, as well as touching on the concerns of everyday life.
An accomplished storyteller, her short fiction has appeared in such notable anthologies as Marion Zimmer Bradley's Sword & Sorceress, Andre Norton's CatFantastic, and the Space Opera anthology edited by Anne McCaffrey and Elizabeth Anne Scarborough.
In addition to everything else, Cynthia also designs and makes original, one-of-a-kind semi-precious gemstone bead necklaces and bracelets, examples of which can be seen at www.rockmagick.com. |
