Artist History Formed in the fall of 1996 as a trio with former Guitarist Grady G(1996-2001), jsb began writing songs that gelled into their first two albums "No Substitutions" and "Ambient Pop". jamie smith band have always been known as a studio group, spending many hours inside Studio 1. Founding brothers Jamie and Jesse Smith are recording their third album entitled "Conversations" and plan to be the first band to release three albums out of the gate. A 6 song jsb sampler has been released to give music enthusiasts a taste of what is in store on the first three jsb albums. The songs "Conversations" and "Have To Go" are featured off the "Conversations" album. The songs "Distraction" and "Unravel" are featured off the "Ambient Pop" album. The songs "Understand" and "Stay With Me" are featured off the "No Substitutions" album. The jsb sampler was produced by Next Day Listen Productions and mastered by Ev Olcott of 12Rods. New material is being written and recorded for the 4th ablum which will be entitled "jsb". The vibe at a jsb live show is very chill'n. The jsb fans enjoy their coctails, blowing bubbles, and bobbing their heads to the beats. To help complete the live show, jsb are delighted to have Kevin Patrick from VHENT help play guitar and sing harmonies. Kevin is very talented and jsb looks forward to working with him on stage. With all the instruments on albums now being performed by Jamie and Jesse Smith, the jsb sound continues to develop and evolve into it's very own.
